I focus my practice working with emerging clinicians, healthcare providers, first responders, and adjacent stressful professions in validating and processing experienced or witnessed traumatic events using exposure, EMDR, CBT, and or DBT modalities. My treatment modality is customized for your needs and abilities, without judgment or offering advice. Initial sessions  are about building rapport, trust,  and a collaborative relationship to creates the space for you to heal and move forward. Vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout are all symptoms of the often intensive work that is required without the necessary supports to balance the work. 

I worked in crisis services, inpatient, and community crisis outreach for many years alongside first responders. I know first hand the sometimes impossible public expectations  do not align with actual resources and limitations of the healthcare system. . 

For emerging clinicians, students, and associate licensed providers, I am able to provide clinical supervision and work with you to prevent compassion fatigue, develop a successful self care plan, and establish boundaries early in your career. Supervision is a partnership much like therapy. I interview all potential supervision candidates to determine if we are a good clinical fit, I can meet your specific licensure requirements if you seek licensure other than an LMHC,, and a supervision contract with goals and boundaries within the working relationship. 

I provide individual mental health counseling for Washington State adults age 18+ using an integrative approach. I am trained in CBT, EMDR, Exposure, and DBT. These therapeutic methods are used in treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, grief and loss, chronic pain management, and life stressors that exceed one's ability to cope. I accept Regence, Premera, and private pay.. Insurance coverage can vary, so please contact your insurance directly for any coverage questions for mental health counseling. 

I am not able to provide care for current self harm, suicidal thoughts, acute or crisis care, intensive outpatient, personality disorders, eating disorders, high conflict services, or active substance or alcohol use, You are welcome to reach out and I am happy to provide referral sources, answer questions, and determine if I am able to provide care or provide referrals.

I am not contracted with any Apple Health or medicaid plans and I opted out of Medicare plans for 2024-2026. Please reach out to your medicaid or medicare plan management organizations directly for a list of participating providers.

• Are you accepting new clients? My practice is part time and is currently full as of 9/2024. You are welcome to send me a message via my website or email to inquire if I have openings. 
• Do you have a  waitlist? No, I do not maintain a waitlist. Openings are filled first come, first serve. 
• Do you offer in person? All services are telehealth to start and I offer in person on a case by case basis. 
• Do you provide DBT programming or DBT for BPD, eating disorders, emotion dysregulation, self harm, or suicidal thoughts or behaviors? No, DBT programming requires a team and specialized programming. I use components for DBT but cannot provide 24/7 support, crisis intervention, phone coaching or other  DBT services.
• Do you do court ordered evaluations, mediation, stage interventions or confrontation, or provide court ordered treatment? No, I do not provide any services affiliated with or ordered by any court or as part of a custody or dissolution family court proceedings.. Please return to your court clerks office for approved referral sources. 
• Do you see children, teens, family or couples counseling? No, I am only seeing single adults age 18+
• What insurance do you accept? I accept Regence, and Premera plans at this time. Please call your insurance to see if you have out of network coverage and I can provide a superbill for you to seek reimbursement. 
• Do you take medicaid, apple health, CHIP, or other state programs? No, I am not a medicaid certified provider and cannot accept any medicaid plans. Medicare billing is dependent on your health management organization in plan B or C benefits . I have opted out of Medicare for 2024-2026.
